Village Synagogue was founded in March 2016 with the dream to build a vibrant Jewish community in the heart of Los Angeles. To bring the joy of tradition, the spirit of community, the beauty of our heritage to every millennial.

Through innovative and outstanding curricula and programming, Village Synagogue has become a dynamic destination in the Jewish Los Angeles landscape.

Inspired by the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who believed that every Jew should have the opportunity to learn and explore their cherished Jewish identity; and taught us that every Mitzvah and kind deed, every word of love, every candle lit, every child educated, and every soul ignited, makes cosmic changes in this world for all eternity.
